Events Manager/Advertsing & Marketing
Hi everyone my name is Colin Fahy. I would firstly like to take this opportunity to welcome you all here to student life in Athlone Institute of Technology. A large part of my belief is to ensure that all the top bands and acts come to A.I.T. We have one of the best college venues in the country at Scribes Social Club, and we have had Aslan, Hothouse Flowers, The Revs, Saw Doctors and most recently The Blizzards to name just a few in recent years. I also coordinate Fresher's Week, Rag Week and the Graduation Ball which will take place in October. I wish to give Students every chance to appear on stage. So if you're in a band or want to play as part of an act, feel free to call in to me. I work with clubs and societies and help them fund raise and promote themselves. We now have use of the poolroom in Scribes for clubs and societies to hold any event or theme night they wish to have.
Class groups wishing to travel to other venues or class night outings, can avail of our special discount arrangement and bus hire facility. Entertainment is what I do best, so don't hesitate to come up and ask
